Konjarnik with its sub-villages, Konjarnik 1, Konjarnik 2 аnd Konjarnik 3, "Uciteljsko naselje", Rudo and Denko's garden, belong to the municipality of Zvezdara.
In the area below today's Cvetkova pijaca, could be seen herds of horses that Kalmit nurtured. Horses were allowed to freely graze on the meadows of today's Konjarnik. Therefore, this entire area that partly belongs to Zvezdara and the other to Vozdovac, still bears the name of Konjarnik thanks to the horses and meadows that once were there.
Ustanicka Street, the main road in Konjarnik, quickly connects this part of Zvedzara with the other parts of the city. At only a few kilometers away from Terazije and pedestrian zone, Knez Mihailova Street, there is Konjarnik which beautifies Belgrade with its charm.
